ROOT56 (5th-6th grade)

And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ"

Now that students are either finished with elementary, or almost done, they are moving into a very important step in their life!

This step is finding out where they fit in “big” church.

The goal of ROOT56 is to help students not only understand what they believe, but the tools that it takes to be deeper ROOTED in the word of God. One of the ways we do that is answering questions like: “Why and How do I read the Bible?”, “Why and How do I pray?”, and “Why do I come to church?”. We will help teach them, and help clear up those questions as they learn/experience what’s next for them in life.


ELEVATE (7th-8th grade)

"But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do."

The goal of ELEVATE is to further challenge students to make their faith their own. Research shows that from ages 13-15 we as human beings go through the most changes in our lifetime. We're talking about psychological changes, physical changes, and especially changes spiritually (the decisions that they make).

Our goal within our 7th-8th Grade ministry at BCC is to continue to not only empower young people to live out their faith, but challenge them to dig deeper into it!

Out of their challenge to go deeper comes elevating what’s important to them above other things, and experiencing the growth that comes out of that. 


ABIDE (9th-12th grade)

"I am the vine; you are the branches. those who remain in me, and i in them, will produce much fruit. for apart from me you can do nothing."

This is a crucial time for students.  Many at this age are already deciding whether they are going to remain in connection with Christ or to disconnect with Him.  Our gathering that takes place on Sunday Nights are designed to help students understand the importance of ABIDING in Christ!  

We do this through relationship development and equipping of applied Biblical Truth.  Our typical night will have a combination of worship, a biblically based message, a hangout time/games and small groups!

We strive to continue to support and challenge students to remain connected to the True Vine. As they soon will transition into young adulthood, life is just getting started, and with that comes challenges. To overcome those challenges, students should know the importance of the church, but also a close (personal) relationship with Jesus, and our goal is to help them live that out.
